Elliptical bottom stationary cryogenic tanks
Elliptical bottom stationary cryogenic tanks are designed for storage of large amounts of cryogenic liquids (О2, N2, Ar, and CH4) at a gage pressure.
The tank consists of two vessels, one of which is placed inside the other. The inner vessel is made of stainless steel while the outer vessel is made of carbon steel. The space between the walls is filled with an insulation material (perlite) and is vacuumized for higher efficiency. The insulation material contains an adsorbent to maintain vacuum in the space.
The delivery set of each cryogenic tank contains:
- Insulated cryogenic tank
- Pressure evaporator
- Valves
- Devices
- Anchor bolts
Horizontal elliptical bottom stationary cryogenic tanks operate at gage pressure of 3 and 5 bar. The standard tank capacity ranges from 50 to 200 m3.
